From stable to statement

How a ‘well-loved’ horsebox found a new lease of life in a way that didn’t look possible

Meet Tipsy Daisy

A warm hello from behind the bar

Tipsy Daisy is a labour of love started and hand designed by myself, Harriet Kennedy. It started as a crazy idea after my Auntie mentioned she had an unwanted horsebox sat in her field that I could have for free, I was sold!

With my own wedding just 8 months away I recruited the best DIY’er’s my family had to offer and created Tipsy Daisy. Everything was hand designed, crafted and painted to suit the space and make a unique bar

The road so far

A loose timeline, because the best stories aren’t on spread-sheets.

  1. Discovery

We find “the one” (the horsebox, that is) and get slightly over-excited in a very British way.

  2. Stripping back, dreaming big

Blueprints, brews, and big mood-board energy. What would make someone say “I need that bar at my wedding?”

  3. Hand-built bar

Weekends in sawdust, linseed oil, and playlists. Daisy starts to look and feel like herself.

  4. First pour

Your party is the reason we do this. Every event is a new chapter, and the guest book is the sequel.

Passion, meet personality

We’re mad about well-run events: the kind where guests relax because someone competent is behind the bar and in charge. We’re equally mad about a tiny flash of playfulness, because a night out (or a Tuesday corporate do) should have a little sparkle in it.

We pride ourselves on personal touches. Your venue quirks, your preferences, you set the vibe and we shall bring it to life
